Support

Help with the Cerno app, and how to reach us. We read every message and reply within two working days.

Get in touch

  • Something not working in the app, or a mistake in a passage, question or word: tech@cerno.group, or the form at the foot of this page. In the app, Settings, then Help & Support, sends a report straight to the team with your app version attached.
  • Anything else, including your account, billing questions and partnerships: contact@cerno.group.

Subscriptions and billing

Cerno Premium is billed through your Apple ID, monthly or annually, and renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

  • Change or cancel. In Cerno, open Settings, then Manage subscription. Cancel subscription takes you to the Subscriptions page of your Apple ID, where every App Store subscription is managed. You can also open it directly: iPhone Settings, your name at the top, then Subscriptions. Cancelling keeps Premium until the end of the period you have paid for.
  • Restore purchases. New phone, or Premium not showing after you subscribed? Sign in to Cerno, open Settings, then Manage subscription, then Restore Purchases. Make sure the phone is signed in to the same Apple ID that made the purchase.
  • Refunds. Apple handles refunds for App Store purchases. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. Our Refund & Cancellation Policy has the detail, including your statutory rights.
  • Codes. Have a discount or access code? Open Settings, then Manage subscription, and enter it under Have a code.

Your account

  • Signing in. Cerno accounts use an email address and password, or Sign in with Apple. Forgotten your password? Use the link on the sign-in screen.
  • Display name and password. Both can be changed in Settings.
  • Deleting your account. In Settings, choose Delete account. This removes your account and the data held against it. An active Apple subscription is separate and should be cancelled in your Apple ID Subscriptions first. If you would rather we did it, email contact@cerno.group from the address on the account.

Levels and progress

  • Your level is set by the short placement test at the start and moves up when you pass a progression test. The Profile tab shows how close you are to being ready for one.
  • The daily loop counts a day when the Daily Session, the Lexicon and Hangman are each done. Streaks and the daily Insight follow from it.
  • What is free.Hangman, the Lexicon, the Cerno Dilemma and Schulte’s Table are free for everyone. Daily training, the Word Bank, the practice games, levels and progression tests are part of Premium.

Sound, reminders and appearance

All three live in Settings: the Sound switch turns the click and answer cues on or off, Notifications sets a daily reminder and its time, and Appearance switches between Night and Day.
